Equipment of Mage

A Mage must carefully handle the arcane energies they draw from the planes to energy their spells. With each spell cast, excess planar energies seep into Telara, building a charge around the Mage, who can let this excess power bleed off over time, or harness it for even higher power.

The art of weaving magic does not favor heavy armors that distract the senses and restrict movement. Though the Mage's conventional light cloth robes leave their bodies vulnerable, their mind is their accurate bulwark. Mages employ a variety of arcane items like staves, wands, tomes, and totems to concentrate their spell-casting. Additionally, numerous Mages shield themselves in close combat having a simple edged weapon like a dagger or brief sword rift mage farming build.
